HMV Profits Soar Due To Pre-owned

Last year, MCV posted a story about HMV stating the reason their profits had been steadily increasing was largely due to games sales and that offering a trade-in service was in turn largely responsible for this trend too.

This is great news for the rest of the DVD and games retail industry because is shows that as games improve and the demand for them goes up, offering services like trade-in can help capture that market.
